I try to live my life by the motto “Live life with no regrets.” So this month (November), I have committed myself to striving for excellence. I have taken upon myself 2 challenges, Both of which are intimidating and difficult.
The first is National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo). This is the fourth year I have signed up for WriMo, but not every time is successful. This year, I plan to write 50,000 words between today and November 31. This year, I’ll be working on something a little different than what I am used to.
Synopsis
Breakaway is a romantic thriller and book one in the Hockey and Heels Series.
Riley Prescott has lived her life with one goal in mind: to make partner at her accounting firm. When she meets a hockey player named Lane, she must decide what is more important.
Lane Miller has always dreamed of playing in the NHL. When this dream finally becomes a reality, Lane believes nothing could go wrong. But soon, secrets from his past begin to haunt him and forces him down a dark path. As he digs into his father’s death, he begins to doubt everything he thought he knew about himself.
Can Lane and Riley discover the truth behind Mr. Miller’s death or will this mystery destroy them?
You can find out more about my novel and progress HERE at my profile on the WriMo site.
The second challenge I’m committed to this November is the 21-Day Fix, an intense diet and fitness program focused on portions and daily exercise. I’ll keep you updated at these three weeks progress.
So this November will be tough. I’ll be fighting my Inner Editor and my Inner Critic, but I’m determined to succeed.
See ya on the flip side.
